During the last full week in January, the assembly at Maryhill Gospel Hall, Glasgow hosted the Bible Experience Exhibition, organised by Gordon McCracken. Many children and adults came or were brought to see it during the week. Participation was very good, and much interest was shown. On four evenings of the following week, Gordon gave short Gospel talks based on themes of current interest using multimedia presentations. The titles were A Soul Connected, A Friend Devoted, A Life Recorded and A Search Concluded. Pray that those who attended any of these events over the two weeks will truly find the Saviour for themselves.
Along with this, we do well to pray that the Lord will bless His Word faithfully preached weekly in thousands of places throughout our land. Regrettably, audiences containing substantial numbers of unsaved people are rather few. So, remember tract distribution which reaches many people in their homes and on the streets, the display of Bible texts in public places where many can read them, Postal Bible School work which continues steadily to reach young and old, and internet websites, which have the potential to reach large numbers of people worldwide, as well as local seekers who prefer to remain hidden. Scripture encourages us to remain zealous with this text: “Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters ...” (Isa 32.20).
