In April, a group of Faroese brethren led by Svenning av Lofti visited the assembly at Stornoway on the island of Lewis. They sailed from Torshavn on board MV Juvell II, an ex-Danish coastguard ship now used to visit Greenland during the summer months to support Gospel work in communities around the coast of that large island. Before they visit Greenland this year, they made a visit to Lewis and, from 22nd - 24th April, Gospel Meetings were conducted in Bayhead Gospel Hall, which was filled to capacity on the final night. One man professed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Many Gospel tracts were distributed on the Friday by the Faroese brethren. On the Saturday they had a day of ministry on Paul's letter to the Philippians: Chapter 1 - The Christian's Purpose; Chapter 2 - The Christian's Pattern; Chapter 3 - The Christian's Prize; Chapter 4 - The Christian's Provision. Ministry was given by Poul Johan Djurhuus, Zacharias Zachariassen and Jogvan Pall Sevdal. The saints in the local assembly were greatly encouraged by their visit.
After leaving Stornoway they sailed to Kirkwall in Orkney. Again they distributed many tracts and held a few Gospel Meetings from 28th April to 2nd May. The same was done at Lerwick in Shetland from 4th to 8th May, preaching the Gospel and distributing tracts specially suited to the locations, before returning to their home towns in the Faroe Islands, where assembly work in the Gospel is active and still prospering.
Earlier in the year, Ainslie Paterson had two weeks of Ministry Meetings with the Orkney assemblies in Westray and Papa Westray (population around 70; 15 at the meetings each night!). Graeme Paterson was also in Orkney for two weeks with the developing children's work there. One school he visited had only six pupils! After that he was at Culloden for two weeks and had meetings in Avoch, and he also visited primary and secondary schools on the Black Isle. More recently, he was in Shetland with the assembly in Brae for a week of meetings, with school visits during the day.
East Scotland
Dan Gillies used a Community Hall for Gospel Meetings in Laurencekirk for three weeks in April - May. With door-to-door visiting, a few came to hear the Gospel. Further visiting included nearby Drumlithie and Auchenblae, and many farms in the area which perhaps had not been reached by the Gospel for a long time. Recently, in Luthermuir, the assembly was encouraged when a middle-aged man was baptised.
At Innerleven, Fife, a teenage girl was baptised on a Friday evening in early June in front of many of her school friends and neighbours, who heard a clear message about the meaning of baptism, and a short, challenging Gospel message from Craig Munro.
Blair Martin and Ainslie Paterson were with the assembly in Mayfield for two weeks' Gospel Meetings in April, also visiting many homes in the townships. A few ladies came to the meetings several times.
"If the Lord will ..."
Prayer is requested for Gospel efforts planned for August at Dedridge, Livingston with Gareth Edwards and Alasdair Baijal, and after that at St Andrews with Gareth and Graeme Paterson and a team of helpers. Also pray for the meetings due to take place in the tent which will be in Crosshill, Fife, as in previous years, with Craig Munro and Jack Hay preaching the Gospel.
At the other side of the country, in Girvan, two weeks of Gospel Meetings are due to commence on 15th August, with Paul Jenkinson and Douglas Robertson preaching. Leaflet distribution and door work will commence on the previous Monday, 8th August. More details are available at www.Godlovesayrshire.co.uk

CO ANTRIM
Antrim Gospel Hall: The assembly, in fellowship with the Dundesert assembly, commenced three weeks of Gospel Meetings in a portable hall at Carmavy Road, Loanends on 19th June with R Pickering. Interest is good, and some local people are attending.
Ballintoy Gospel Hall: During the month of June, Philip Kennedy (Ballintoy) and Dan Gillies (Scotland) had three weeks of Tent Meetings in Mosside village, Co Antrim. The district was well covered in door-to-door visitation, and some good conversations resulted. A few unsaved from the wider district attended as well as families of believers. We leave the seed sown with God (Ps 126.5-6).
Ballymena (Cambridge Avenue): At the end of June, J Rogers and W Martin continue with Gospel Meetings in a large marquee on the Old Park Road, with help to preach each night. There has been a very good attendance, with many visitors and support from local areas. The site is excellent and car parking well catered for. The believers are most thankful that God has blessed in salvation. To God be the glory.
Ballywatermoy Gospel Hall: The assembly had five nights of ministry from 6th - 10th June with S Wells. His subject was 'The Dispensations of Scripture', illustrated using a very informative chart. The ministry was most instructive and profitable. Brother Stan addressed the subject in such a way that young believers were able to follow and enjoy it, as he gave a good overview of the entire subject. The meetings were well attended.
Kells Gospel Hall: P McCauley and D Williamson had Gospel Meetings in the Community Centre in Kells village (kindly granted). The meetings continued for four weeks with some interest from locals, along with support from other assemblies. The effort was very useful, and an opportunity to sow the good seed.
Kells: J Rogers, helped by local brethren, had Open Air Meetings around the village from 21st - 24th June.
BELFAST
Ballyduff Gospel Hall: The Annual Conference, from 7th - 11th May, was well attended and enjoyed by all. Reports were given by A Colgan (N Ireland), M Gebara (Brazil) and G Smith (Children's work). These reports were very informative and a good guide for prayer. W Boyd also gave very helpful and encouraging ministry from James chapters 3, 4 and 5.
Dunmurry: A Steele and T Armstrong have concluded meetings in a portable hall at the large Seymour Hill Housing Estate near Dunmurry. Numbers were excellent, and it was encouraging to see some local people attending. Christians from other assemblies brought their families consistently, and news of blessing in salvation cheered the hearts of the saints. The assembly has been evangelising this estate for many years, and trust that there will soon be a harvest to the glory of God.
CO DONEGAL
D McAllister and G Woods have been encouraged in Gospel Meetings in a tent in Laghey, Donegal. There has been opportunity to visit a wide rural area, with excellent help from the believers at Bridgetown. Most of those who have been in attendance have attended meetings in the past, and now they have heard the Gospel another time. The good seed has been sown in expectation of a harvest.

CO TYRONE
Dungannon: The Gospel was faithfully preached for three weeks by B Glendinning in an outreach hall at Milltown. Please pray that God will bless His Word spoken, along with the literature and invitations given out.
Kilmore: The assembly erected a portable hall in an excellent location near Killen, Castlederg early in June, for a series of Gospel Meetings conducted by S Gilfillan and D Strahan. The area was very well covered with tracts and invitations, but the response from local people was slow. Local assemblies gave good support.

ENGLAND & WALES
Northampton, Spencer Bridge Road: Two weeks of Gospel Meetings were held in June with Stephen Baker. The assembly was encouraged by the faithful and clear preaching of the Gospel, and by the interest shown by the 19 visitors who came, some more than once. Open Air Meetings were also held twice each week, and many homes in the area were visited. Please pray for the Lord's blessing on the seed sown, and as we follow up on the contacts made.
In Pamber Heath, Blair Martin preached the Gospel faithfully for six nights, and worked hard during the days calling at the doors. A few visitors came to the meetings and heard the Gospel message.
