The believers at the Arnot Gospel Hall, Kennoway have been much encouraged by recent blessing in the gospel. After Peter Brandon preached the gospel one Lord's Day in March, an elderly man waited behind and made a profession of faith in Christ. His wife is a believer who is an active member of the local Church of Scotland. With tears, she said that his conversion was the answer to her many years of praying. Mr Brandon was back preaching in Kennoway for the five Lord's Days in June. A young woman, visiting the Hall for the first time, was affected by the message and trusted Christ. Both these young converts are showing some progress. Then a sister in the assembly went to visit a neighbour who was in hospital and was delighted to hear her confess her need for God in her life. She wondered whether she had left it too late! The sister had the great joy of leading her to the Saviour. Please pray that these conversions are but the first of a mighty harvest to come.
Dundee
The work in Dundee which Mike Cordiner and colleagues have been doing for several years now was last reported here in September, 2014. Since then, some of those mentioned have moved on while others now come almost daily to the new Drop-in centre near the middle of the city - as many as 15 on certain days. This is an excellent facility recently acquired where the men can have a midday meal and an informal chat about their present needs, and some seriously about eternal matters. The soup kitchen work also meets a real need, based on a newly obtained Jiffy Truck which has made this service a good deal better and easier to operate. Help in these outreaches from some young sisters in a nearby assembly has been greatly appreciated. Prayer is valued that this way of contacting those whose lives are on the edge may lead to sound conversions as well as being an effective way of demonstrating the love of God to generally difficult members of society. Especially remember A recently released from prison with guilt still an issue and some mental health problems; D who is without electricity in his flat; W going to rehab to tackle his heroin addiction; G who was showing promise but has recently relapsed into historical alcohol abuse.
Bible Exhibition Scotland
It is over 20 years ago that a group of brethren from Ayrshire had the vision to assemble a Bible Exhibition, primarily for use in Ayrshire in places where there was no assembly testimony. However, it has now travelled all over the British Isles, from Shetland in the north to Jersey in the south, and it has become an excellent tool for reaching school children. To date, more than 600,000 children have viewed it! Whilst it is normally used for school children during the day, in the evenings many adults also come to see it.
The current trustees of the exhibition have decided on a new name, Bible Exhibition Scotland, which will now better reflect the scope and origin of the exhibition. But its purpose has not changed - its main use continues to be reaching children with the gospel. Also, with the exhibition now over 20 years old, an update to the content and format of the display panels was needed and is being worked on with a planned completion date in December, 2015 (DV). The new exhibition will be a bit more "hands on" with some interactive areas for the children.
For more information about the Exhibition, and requests for using it, contact Graeme Paterson at graeme@bibleexhibition.co.uk or Willie Deans at willie@bibleexhibition.co.uk.

Stockport
Wesley and Alison Downs' recent report on their work at the Mill with the homeless and addicted brings matters for prayer and praise. N came to them 2 years ago from Moorlands Prison with a bag of beer and drug users' equipment meaning to stay a short time to avoid a bail hostel. But since then he has been transformed by the grace of God, and is about to leave to begin a degree course in a university in Leeds. His last task before going was to preach the gospel to young men at a football outreach, testifying to the difference Christ made in his life. A who heard N's testimony told the others how much he had seen N change over these 2 years, and, though an unbeliever, he says he is certain now that there is a God – pray for his salvation. N is engaged to K, a lovely Christian girl – pray for them for strength in days to come. Also pray for J whom they expect from Moorlands in early July, and remember their need for more accommodation which is critical. P arrived one day in May with a near fatal drug overdose. What a change to see him reading his Bible and singing praise to the Lord. How gracious and kind our God is to show such mercy and grace to us all.
SOUTH-WEST WALES
Ian Rees continues preaching and teaching at Tenby. The work there is very promising and they are exercised about beginning to break bread in the Community Centre this summer; a search for suitable premises to rent or buy continues but so far without conclusion. Over the May Bank Holiday they held one of their periodic Bible Study weekends at Hill, 5 sessions on the early part of Philippians 2 with a responsive group of over 70 young people present. Another such weekend is planned for late August (DV). Pray for the many aspects of the work which Ian and Rebecca do, especially that Ian may be strengthened after a recent spell of fatigue and illness, and remember his elderly mother Iris who is very weak and frail in a nursing home.
