SCOTLAND
North of Scotland:
The believers meeting at Celt Street, Inverness, arranged a "Creation Conference" with Ian Campbell in mid-May. Friday evening was a report and testimony night, then four sessions through Saturday explored different topics on creation, using digital projector slides very effectively to illustrate the subjects. The second part of the last session, "Fearfully and Wonderfully Made", was held in the Avoch community centre on Lords Day evening, continuing the series of special meetings organised by the assembly there. As on previous occasions, over twenty visitors from the village came. This was true again at the end of May when Ian Affleck conducted two sessions on "Where will it all end", dealing with the topical problems of the credit crunch, corruption in high places, pandemics, and the like. Many were challenged. The believers in Avoch appreciate the support of neighbouring assemblies.
Summer Tent Work: Dan Gillies purposes to have his Gospel Tent in four different locations this summer. In mid June at Inchture (between Dundee and Perth) - Stuart McGahie in the Tayport assembly lives there and will share in the preaching; in early July at Thornhill near Kirkconnel where he has been these past two years, with Aaron Colgan of Northern Ireland joining for that effort. Childrens meetings and gospel meetings are intended at both places. Near the end of July at Inverlochy, by Fort William, an excellent site right in the village square has been obtained. Phil and Anne Kennedy of the assembly there will again be taking time off to share in the work, along with some others. Finally, in August he will be at Edzell Woods where last year over 40 children and teenagers came from that small village where Brian and Ruthanna Chalmers live. The prayers of the saints are much needed and appreciated. We thank God that it is still possible to work with a tent in this our day. Please pray for its preservation - a new roof has just been fitted.

Ballywatermoy: J Allen had ministry meetings from 8th-12th June on "Christ and the Hebrew Epistle".
Ballywatt: (in connection with Ballintoy Assembly). Gospel Meetings concluded on 5th June. Many neighbours attended and, with the support of other assemblies, the hall was well filled every evening and there was a desire to hear of blessing.
Clough: Gospel Meetings are planned (DV) for August with D McGarvey and M Radcliffe.
Lisburn: L Craig and P McCauley commenced a series in the gospel on 24th May in a portable hall in the Moira Road area of the city.

Ballymacashion Gospel Hall: The annual meeting for believers was held on 30th May. The hall was well filled and a variety of ministry of a profitable nature was given by D Ussher, S Jennings, D Gilliland, R McKeown, and P McCauley.
Gransha: Gospel Tent meetings commenced here at the end of May conducted by R Pickering and J Wishart. A prayerful interest would be appreciated for this country area.
Moneyreagh: On 22nd May B Currie and J Palmer concluded 5 weeks of gospel meetings in a shop unit in the centre of the village. Some local people attended showing interest. The area was well visited with invitations and gospel literature.

Gortin: A Colgan and M Campbell have had a series of gospel meetings in a portable hall sited in a Historic Park. The surrounding assemblies gave good support; however, the local people did not show any consistent interest.
Co. MONAGHAN
Erryroe Gospel Hall: J Fleck gave profitable ministry here for 1 week in mid May.

Letterkenny: S Patterson and G Stewart are in their fifth week of meetings (end May) in a portable hall in the country district of Glenmaquin near Letterkenny. They are encouraged with the meetings, not least because a good number of locals are attending.
Laghy: J Fleck and S Gilfillan intend commencing gospel meetings in a portable hall on 7th June.
Limavady: M Radcliffe and J Rodgers are in their third week of meetings in the Gospel Hall. The town has been well visited with invitations resulting in a few people from the locality attending; there are also quite a number of the Christians children attending.
Magherafelt: D Gilliland and S Gilfillan are in their sixth week of meetings in the Gospel Hall (end May). A feature of the meetings is that above average numbers of people are attending from the locality - largely due to the fact that the Christians have been working hard in inviting and bringing them to the meetings. The assembly, and the preachers, have been greatly encouraged by four people making it known that they have trusted Christ for salvation.

DUBLIN
Rathmines Gospel Hall: Brother David Gilliland conducted a short series of gospel meetings during the first week of February on the subject "Christianity for all classes" which was illustrated by Bible conversions. The number of unsaved attending was good in spite of heavy snow, and some showed an interest in salvation. Please pray for all who attended - both outsiders and the believers children.
ENGLAND & WALES
Cardiff: In the main pedestrian shopping area in the centre of the city there is a large electronic advertising display board. For some time now local believers have paid for verses of Scripture to be displayed on this board and the verse is changed, sometimes once a month and at others, twice a month. A PO Box contact address is also displayed and many have responded, including those coming to the city as visitors. Some of these are believers from other parts of the UK who have expressed their delight at seeing the Word of God displayed so prominently. The text is displayed at five minute intervals and it is reckoned that, at peak times, 10,000 people pass by the board. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will use His Word to the salvation of precious souls. The assembly at Adamsdown recently held two weeks of gospel meetings with Blair Martin. Our brother, helped by brethren from the assembly, visited a large number of the homes in the area. The saints were encouraged to see unbelievers, both young and old, and a number of whom were of other nationalities, under the sound of the gospel. Several people from the area also attended the coffee mornings and heard the message of the gospel. Pray that the Lord will bless in the salvation of souls.
Abergavenny: This small assembly had an exercise to hold eight nights of gospel meetings during the month of May. Two South Wales brethren, D Richards and A Maunder were responsible for the preaching. During the week prior to the meetings each house in the town was given a very attractive invitation together with a gospel tract. The saints were encouraged to see about half a dozen unbelievers in under the sound of the gospel, some of whom were relatives and friends of the believers. This was the first time some of these had ever been in a Gospel Hall to hear the preaching of the gospel. Please pray that this small assembly might be encouraged in seeing souls saved.
WEST MIDLANDS
Birmingham, Northfield: An excellent conference in May with ministry from E Griffiths and I Jackson. There was good support by saints from elsewhere, some of whom had never been to such a gathering before. An encouraging occasion.
Redditch, Batchley Estate: I Robertson spent a weekend at Foxlydiate Crescent giving ministry and a report on the work in which he is involved.
